DO I REQUIRE A TRIAL?
Whilst I have done weddings, debs, and other functions without a makeup trial, there are a number of benefits for having a trial.  As makeup is such a personal thing, a trial gives us the opportunity to chat about what you do and don't like.  At the trial we will have more time to create the perfect look, at which time I will record all the products I use on you, then when the big day comes around you know exactly what you are getting and you will have the opportunity to make any small adjustments.  A trial ensures everything will run smoothly on the big day when there is a time frame and a lot of other pressures (e.g. organising caterers, photographers, florists, etc.).

If you would like a trial I recommend you organise it on a day that you have a function on, as it will give you a good idea of how the makeup will wear on your skin, especially as dancing and alcohol, affects everyones skin differently, therefore makeup wears differently on different people.  This is also a good opportunity to take a few photos to give you an idea of how the makeup will look in photos on your special day.

HOW LONG SHOULD I ALLOW ON THE DAY FOR MY MAKEUP?
I usually allow an hour per person on the day, although it usually take less.  This allows for unexpected delays and interruptions on the day meaning that you won't arrive late to your function.  This also gives me time before I leave to double check everyone's makeup and and make any final adjustments as needed.

DISCLAIMER: I sterilize and clean my makeup brushes and tools between each person.  If you have any skin sensitivities or allergies, it is your responsibility to let me know prior to your makeup application.  I will not be held responsible for any reactions or breakouts.
